Collaboration Introduces High-Performance European-Style Window System to North American Market
MONROE, OH – Deceuninck North America, an industry-leading manufacturer and extruder of energy-efficient PVC window and door systems, is pleased to announce its partnership with Alpen High Performance Products for the production of Deceuninck’s European-style Elegant window series.
Based in Louisville, CO, Alpen is a recognized leader in the manufacture of energy-efficient windows and doors that meet strict thermal, acoustic, budget, and quality standards, making them an ideal partner for Deceuninck’s Elegant platform.
Originally exclusive to the European market, Elegant windows and sliding doors provide seamless welds, slim profiles, and flush geometry that deliver modern aesthetics and whole-window U-values as low as 0.09. The series maintains structural integrity and thermal performance even in oversized units, meeting rising demand for large windows. Elegant windows incorporate fiberglass composite reinforcements that reduce weight, improve thermal efficiency, and support flexible hardware and installation options.
“The fenestration industry is being shaped by increasingly rigorous structural, thermal, and acoustical requirements, along with growing demand for larger expanses of glass,” said Terrence Ceulemans, president of Deceuninck North America. “The Elegant platform was engineered to address these challenges, and with Alpen’s leadership in the North American window market, Deceuninck is uniquely positioned to more rapidly commercialize these products and meet customer needs.”
This collaboration supports Deceuninck’s long-term strategy of prioritizing innovation, expanding its presence in the high-performance market, and strengthening its portfolio of benchmark systems like Elegant to drive growth in North America.
“Our partnership with Deceuninck has driven the evolution of Alpen’s Tyrol platform. We can now pair the Elegant framing system with our thin-triple and thin-quad glazing technologies,” said Avi Bar, chief revenue officer, Alpen High Performance Products. “The result is a high-performance, design-forward window that meets the most rigorous energy standards. We share a commitment to pushing the boundaries of what high-performance fenestration can achieve.”
Deceuninck’s partnership with Alpen represents the next step in delivering the world’s most energy-efficient window systems that help meet evolving building codes and Passive House Standards.
